Beyond Hope Lies, ascending from New York City, started about 2 years ago. Along the way, there have been a few line up changes, but the full band, as it sits, now have been together for about one year. They are a crazy fun experience who love to put on a show. They have played shows with everyone from Scary Kids Scaring Kids to Cartel. Beyond Hope Lies has independently sold 5,000 copies of their self released EP in the last six months, just by playing it up on the streets. Most of their shows are played in their hometown, New York City. "Our music is a powerpop, screamo, and rock combo. We like to describe our music as emotion fused with reality that people can relate to. Other than that its fun, so thats basically what we got."
