Every Saturday night Galapagos Art Space proudly presents
Floating Kabarette!
(Reserving a Table? See below for details!)
What will you see at Floating Kabarette? Think sensual trapeze artists, fantastical male and female burlesque artists, sublime chanteurs and beautiful chanteuses, and the best cabaret and variety artists in New York City.
Did you know….. Galapagos has a 1600 sq. ft. lake in its building?
YES, we said LAKE. In New York City we have our own lake
“Some of New York City’s best performers!”
“A truly sublime reflecting pool, an expansive cathedral-like interior, brilliantly spotlit, the scenery is lush, [an] ever-growing cultural oasis.”
– The New York Times
“Gorgeous, spacious, zen-like …”
- Zagat Survey
“A Little Carnegie Hall”
- New York Magazine
“If you want your low necklines with a highbrow gloss, head for Galapagos to catch the Floating Kabarette.”

Reserving a Table
Simply email boxoffice@galapagosartspace.com by 7pm Saturday and you’re guaranteed your table if you arrive by 10pm. Advance ticket-holders are admitted to the venue first starting at 9:30pm.
Important Information:
Unless we hear from you we assume that you’re joining a larger group in the venue, and that we don’t have to save you a specific seat – the larger group will have already done that.
When writing:
Make sure to send your TicketWeb confirmation number(s) of your purchase(s), the name of your party, and the date you’d like to attend.
Arriving at the venue:
Doors are at 9:30pm and you must arrive by 10pm – as a full party – to be seated. If there’s a line, make sure to join the ticket holders line. Why arrive by 10pm and stand in a special line? The other line is for walk-ups, or ”those who walk up to the venue hoping to buy tickets” – and they’ll be in the “General Admission” line and admitted at 10pm. You want to be in the ticket holders line by 10pm at the latest in order to get your seats.
Larger groups:
If you’re a larger party please try to write us early in the week to ensure that we can seat you all together!
Maybe you’re celebrating something or it’s your last night of freedom before a stint in the joint, or you’re last night of freedom before you get hitched, or maybe it’s your birthday or maybe you just got promoted to an awesome new job and ˜owe someone something for that.” In any case, we got you covered.
Special Cocktails:
Can we make you a special cocktail for your event?
To celebrate going to prison we often make a larger group scrumptious cocktails and name a drink after them for the night. Why? Because your friend will need something to help them remember life on the outside – and you’ll be helping them!

Let us know how we can help. We’re here if you need anything!
