Tribeca New Music Festival: Anti-Depressant
The TRIBECA NEW MUSIC FESTIVAL continues with ANTI-DEPRESSANT, the blazing hot duo featuring pianist Kathleen Supové and violinist Jennifer Choi. They are joined by Grammy-nominated violinist/composer Gregor Huebner (premiering a major new work for electronics and violin), and HBO-featured violinist/composer Jonathan Zalben, who will premiere his new work, Fireflies for voice, violin, cello, video and electronics.
On the Program:
Olas (Waves) for violin and piano by Orlando Jacinto Garcia; Conversio for violin and piano by Erkki-Sven Tüür; Sapphire for electric violin and electronics by Preston Stahly; new work (TBA) by Gregor Huebner; and Fireflies for voice, violin, cello, video and electronics by Jonathan Zalben.
