Resident Artists
(in alphabetical order... mostly)
Meet Galapagos' resident artists!
Ranging from dance and theater artists to a hungry marching band to
a stupendous reading series to film, music, performance art and burlesque
artists, these are the people and projects that represent the most
talented, visionary, and independently proactive emerging artists
in New York City. Collectively, they reveal the scope of artistic
vision that makes Galapagos Art Space one of the most important venues
for new and progressive performance in the nation. Residencies were
selected by the Galapagos staff, ensuring that every last one of them
has something amazing to offer a discriminating audience hungry for
intelligent and provocative live entertainment. Check them out!
When
you look at our
online calendar and
you see >>!
this indicates that the artist you're looking
at is indeed a Galapagos resident artist! It's our suggestion that
we're putting our best foot forward: that this is someone, or something,
you should see.
